Inclusion Criteria:
Individuals who smoke and wish to quit. Partially edentulous patients who have at least one newly placed dental implant in the oral cavity, in a healed socket. Over 18 years of age. Both sexes
Exclusion Criteria:
Completely edentulous patients. Immediate implants in fresh extraction sockets. Need for bone grafting in the implant area. Presence of any systemic alteration considered a risk factor for implant loss or failure (e.g., diabetes, HIV infection, etc.). Severe malocclusion (such as large transverse discrepancy of the jaws, etc.). Chronic use of non-steroidal or steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. Use of bisphosphonates. History of radiotherapy in the head and neck region. Severe periodontal disease. Antibiotic therapy (prophylactic or not) in the last 3 months
